A local guide

The Soleil Guide to SLC

We spend all day talking to people about this city — where to eat before a wedding, where to send someone visiting for a weekend, who to see for everything that isn't nails. This is that list, kept honest and kept short.

Coffee & Pastry

Where we go before a shift, and where we send clients with time to kill before an appointment.

Restaurants

Places we actually eat at, not just the ones with the best photos.

Junah

Downtown

On the list — we'll write this one up properly once we've been back.

Spa & Beauty

The people we trust with everything that isn't nails.

The Grand Spa

Salt Lake City

Where we send anyone who wants a real spa day around their appointment with us.

Sweathauz

Salt Lake City

Infrared sauna and recovery. Easy to pair with a pedicure day.

Call to the House Massage

She comes to you

Our favorite massage therapist. She's phone-only and takes referrals from us directly, so we don't post her number here — ask and we'll pass it along.

Gyms & Movement

Studios near downtown that our team and our clients keep going back to.

Seven Sisters

Salt Lake City

Our pilates pick. Strong classes, good instructors, not intimidating.

Far But Worth It

Not close, and we'd still make the drive.

The restaurant at Canopy, Deer Valley

About an hour out

New, and worth planning an evening around. We'll add the name once we've been back.

Mountain Elite Massage

Heber City · about an hour out

Serious, therapeutic work. Worth the drive if something actually hurts.

Urban Injections

Syracuse · about 45 minutes out

Our facial recommendation. We send people north for this one on purpose.

Where to Stay

For clients visiting town, and for the wedding parties who book with us.

Asher Adams

Depot District

In the old Union Pacific depot. Worth a look even if you are not staying.

Getting Around

Parking downtown is manageable if you know where to look.

Street parking on 100 South

At the studio

Metered and usually available. Pay at the kiosk or in the Park SLC app.

Nothing on this page is paid or sponsored. If a place stops being good, we take it off.
